In almost all cases couples encounter last minute problems and stress the day of their wedding. If you have a happy-go-lucky attitude and do your best to stay prepared your day will be perfect. We believe however, that the wedding morning should not be the time for stress. Here are our best tips from planning the wedding to the day of to curb your stress.
Get Ready Solo
While getting ready with your best gals might seem like a good idea in theory, there’s always unwanted advice and things can get a little messy. Ask the rest of the girls to join you an hour before the reception for a glass of bubbly…stress free.
Bye Bye Traditions
Yes, you may believe superstition is a real thing, but trying to follow everything will create tension and stress levels will soar. The age old tradition of not seeing your groom may be troublesome. If sleeping in the same room as your husband to be calms, you throw out traditions and cuddle up.
Practice Your Vows
This is why we practice public speaking at a young age…well maybe. Nevertheless, it’s always a good idea to run them over to release a bit of pressure
Delegate someone you trust to go over final details so none of the stress falls on you. The last thing you want is to be sorting everything out while getting ready. By delegating you will be able to soak up every little minute of your big day in peace!
Have a Backup Plan
If you are planning an outdoor wedding, there is always one uncertainty…the weather (or an indoor one, rain can always put a damper on things). Make sure you have a backup plan in place so you can go about your day stress free.
